What:  A sculptural poetry/sonic installation
Where:  1199 S. Fair Oaks  Avenue (S.W. corner of W. State St. and Fair Oaks Ave.)
When:  Daily, through June, 2013
Hours:  11:00 AM to 7:00 PM for sonic experience
Parking:  Limited street parking on Fair Oaks.  Please respect parking signs on residential streets.

"City Speaks" brings together the talents of three Pasadena poets, a concrete ghost of a Morris Chair and an ambient sonic environment to create a contemplative al fresco living room, inviting you to sit a spell, relax in dappled shade and enjoy poetic reflections on the Crown City of the San Gabriel Valley.

"City Speaks" is one of the three site-specific artworks commissioned by the Pasadena Arts & Culture Commission and City of Pasadena Cultural Affairs Division.  NewTown is also supported by a grant from the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the Los Angeles County Arts Commission.
