Join NewTown and an adventuresome array of Southern California’s artists on a half mile stroll, enlivened with their interpretations of the Arroyo Seco’s history, inhabitants, ecosystems and its often contentious human interactions. Supercharge a beautiful Fall day with a prismatic portrait of the Lower Arroyo; its myths, realities, past and present in sixteen installations stimulating the imagination and easily walking off those weekend brunch calories.
Find California Blvd. anywhere in Pasadena. Go west until it dead-ends at Arroyo Blvd. (not Arroyo Parkway). Make a right on Arroyo and go a short distance to first possible place to turn left. You are at Lower Arroyo Park.
Grants from The Pasadena Art Alliance, Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the Los Angeles County Arts Commission and the gracious hosting of The City of Pasadena’s Department of Public Works - Parks & Natural Resources Division and the support of NewTown’s members.
